Astrology is assured of recognition from psychology, without further restrictions, because astrology represents the summation of all the psychological knowledge of antiquity.

The relationships between the planets and the signs of the zodiac
In ancient times each moving planet was noted to have a relationship with
a fixed zodiacal sign. These relationships were neat and straightforward
in that the Sun and Moon ruled one sign each and the five known planets
two signs each.
The 'modern' planets - Uranus, Neptune and Pluto were discovered relatively
recently. Uranus in 1781, Neptune in 1846 and Pluto in 1930. The trans-Saturnian
planets are felt by some to be irrelevant whilst other astrologers argue
the influence of the modern planets.

† Due to
the recent discovery of Pluto and the slow speed at which it moves
through the signs, opinion varies as to its influences and its fall
and exhalt has yet to be discovered.
‡ Opinion is very divided as to the relationship
between Pluto and Aries. |
